Bronwyn’s novel could be described as Run Lola Run meets Mrs Dalloway. Both dynamic and inward-looking, it takes place over the course of a single day in contemporary Sarajevo. A young Australian teacher accidentally receives an incriminating video of a shooting that has brought the country to a standstill. Already preoccupied with finding her place in the world, she is desperate to do the right thing, if only she could figure out what that is.
In 2018, Bronwyn participated in HARDCOPY, the ACT Writers Centre’s national professional development program for emerging Australian writers. She was one of the first participants in the program’s digital pilot, and she was invited to Canberra to participate in its competitive second round. During her stay at the Loft, she will be attending a two-day workshop with agents and publishers from around the country, receiving industry-level feedback on her manuscript.
