An immersive work of theatre responding to the poetry of Joshua Bell.

Don’t hide your weirdness | Don’t hide that you like | Peanut butter and beetroot sandwiches | Felling sand in your socks | Popping ready pimples | Urinating from high places

Don’t hide your weirdness | Don’t hide that you always | Sort your food by colour | Drink warm coca cola | Play with your pubes | Paint pictures with your make-up

Don’t hide your weirdness | Don’t hide that you enjoy | Peeling of sunburnt skin | Talking to yourself in the car | Looking at snot after blowing your nose | Or plucking out hairs, one by one

For God’s sake | Don’t hide your weirdness | It makes you interesting | It makes you | Enjoy yourself | You won’t be anything else

This work will be highly theatricalised, drawing on the practices of Pina Bausch, Omar Naharin and Bertolt Brecht. It will comment on the experience of the individual upon hearing the words written by Joshua Bell.
