Workshop 3. Centrelink Support for Artists with Sophie Trevitt
The government announcements about social security payments during COVID-19 have been coming thick and fast leaving lots of artists and creatives confused about what they may be eligible for, and how to apply.
For this session of A+G’s Artist Toolkit Canberra based community lawyer Sophie Trevitt will be answering your questions and explaining how to navigate Centrelink and government support.
Workshop 4. Accounting, Tax and Finance admin with Peter Bayliss
Arts accountant Peter Bayliss from Into Tomorrow tells us how artists can gain clarity on what is required to prepare their finances for accessing the Job Keeper and Job Seeker payments, as well as guidance on some basic budgeting/cash flow principles, record-keeping and the various taxes including Income Tax, GST and PAYG.
