Dan Walker

A composer, conductor and performer, Dan Walker has had works commissioned by the Sydney Symphony, the Australian Chamber Orchestra and Gondwana Choirs. He is a member of the professional vocal ensemble, the Consort of Melbourne, Cantillation and Pinchgut Opera, has been a guest performer with the Song Company, and he was a founding member of the early music ensemble, The Parson’s Affayre. As a conductor, Dan is keenly sought-after. He has worked as a chorus master for Sydney and Melbourne Symphony Choruses, as a conductor and associate artistic director at Gondwana Choirs, and as a guest conductor for countless choirs across Australia. He is currently the conductor and Artistic Director of both Choristry and Habeas Chorus, in Melbourne.

During his stay, Dan Walker will be leading a Conductor’s Masterclass, as well as conducting Luminescence Chamber Singers’s concert Lagrime D’Amante: At the tomb of the beloved.
