Ausdance ACT

Ausdance ACT provides support and promotion of dance and dance development with a special interest in dance artists, youth and community development projects.

Ausdance ACT supports dance artists with management services, mobilizes cooperation in support of dance development, works for high standards of professionalism in the dance industry, and creates and manages dance projects such as the annual Youth Dance Festival. It build links between arts facilities and dance artists, works with visiting dance companies, and creates and maintains national links for dance.

As well as advising the ACT government, AusDance ACT also provides information for companies and individuals running dance businesses. They maintain a directory of dance artists and dance schools and related businesses, a monthly e-bulletin, and professional development workshops.
