Women with Disabilities ACT (WWDACT) is hosting the inaugural variety show for young people with disabilities called Pitch Your Passion.
Pitch Your Passion will take place on March 22nd, 2019 from 7-9pm at Ainslie Arts Centre and is an opportunity for young people with a disability or mental health condition (aged 16-25) to speak about something they’re passionate about or perform for up to 10 minutes. We’re lucky to have a full program of wonderful speakers and performers sign-up to Pitch their Passion ahead of time. There will, however, be a few open mic spots available on the night for young people with disabilities in the audience to take to the stage!
This accessible event will include a sign interpreter, a hearing loop, a quiet/sensory space and audience spaces for wheelchair users will be available throughout the seating layout. Plenty of accessible parking will also be available. The event is free but bookings are advised as the venue has limited capacity.
