LiveArt Lab: A Creative Development Program

  • WHEN: 29 August 2020 - 30 January 2021

Welcome to LiveArt Lab 2020! We are happy to announce our three lab project residents, Zev Aviv, Hanna Cormick and sibling duo Mils DC and Sophia Dacy-Cole!

These artists will be working with professional  mentors to guide and facilitate the development of their  Live Art projects. Welcome to our artists, we can’t wait to kick-start our development and mentorship program dedicated to Live Art.

The LiveArt Lab is a development residency program at Ainslie and Gorman Arts Centres (A+G) that supports ACT based or connected artists in the development of original works that can be described as ‘live art’: defined as when an artist chooses to make work directly in front of the audience in space and time.

Running from September – December 2020, the program will offer creative development opportunities for our lab project residents. With in-kind support, mentoring and artist fees, this program connects artists to our creative community and provides access to spaces, creative input from practicing Arts professionals and the chance to develop those wild ideas.
