Live Art Lab: A Creative Development Program
- PRESENTER: Ainslie and Gorman Arts Centres
- WHEN: 10pm to 6am
29 January 2020 - 9 March 2020
The Creative Development Residency Program at Ainslie and Gorman Arts Centres (A+G) supports ACT based or connected artists in the development of original works that can be described as ‘live art’: defined as when an artist chooses to make work directly in front of the audience in space and time.
Running from March – November 2020, the program will offer creative development opportunities for up to three artists/group collaborations for ACT-based or connected artists. With in-kind support, mentoring and artist fees, this program will connect you to our creative community and give you access to spaces, creative input from practicing Arts professionals and the chance to develop those wild ideas.
Artists who practice across theatre, dance, physical theatre and circus, performance art, literature, music, film, and visual arts and design or who have a multi-disciplinary and inter-disciplinary arts practice are encouraged to apply.
LGBTIQ+ artists, artists identifying with having a disability, artists from a linguistically diverse background, artist who are parents of young children, or First Nations artists are particularly encouraged to apply.
Applications close 9 March, 2020.
