Dionisia Salas graduated from the painting department of the ANU School of Art in 2007. She has since lived and practiced in Canberra, Melbourne and Berlin where she was assistant to the artist Katharina Grosse. She is a recipient of a 2017 ArtsACT project grant and this year will participate in a residency at The Art Vault, Mildura. She has participated in residencies at Megalo Print Studio, the inaugural Glint residency with Canberra Glassworks and Megalo, and at Baso studio in Berlin. Group exhibitions include Emerging from Canberra, Watters Gallery, Sydney, Here and Now, Nuttall Kibel Nguyen, Melbourne, Word of Mouth, Canberra Museum + Gallery; The Presence of the Past in the Future, Stedefreund, Berlin.
