Artist’s Toolkit

  • WHEN: 12am to 12am
    1 January 2020 - 31 July 2020

Following on from the successful program in 2018-19, the 2020 Artist Toolkit Program is focused on upskilling artists in developing and managing a successful creative practice. This includes:

  • Meeting the contemporary challenges of maintaining a creative practice
  • Developing artists that are resilient and innovative, able to work across boundaries
  • Foster arts practice that is conscious of sustainability and inclusion

Running from January – July the Artist Toolkit Program equips participants through open public workshops, small focus groups, and one-on-one Toolkit Chats with our creative team.

Professional practice topics will include setting and defining goals, articulating creative practice, project development, funding and grants, budgeting, communications, community engagement and audience development.

If you are a creative who identifies as LGBTIQ, has lived experience of disability or mental health issues, under the age of twenty-five or from a linguistically diverse background, you will receive priority in our program and we are excited to partner with you in your creative journey.
