Producers Toolkit Scholarship Program
Wednesday, 5 October 2016
Producers Toolkit is a series of 6 weekly sessions focused around contemporary issues in creative production practice. Focused on the work done by creative producers, but relevant to a range of people working in the Arts, each session will feature a presentation by provocateurs from across the Arts and engage local producers in discussion about the urgent and compelling issues in producing creative projects in Canberra and further afield.
Acknowledging that one of the big issues in Arts practice today is equity of access to arts and culture, we’re announcing a scholarship program to support producers and creatives who would otherwise not be able to access this program due to the cost of registration. Because this scholarship is designed to support those who wouldn’t otherwise have access to the program and who therefore might not have had opportunities like this in the past, we’re not expecting that you have any experience at all, just an enthusiasm to learn, discuss and build your knowledge. While we will consider all applications, places are reserved for applicants or nominees who identify as homeless, long-term unemployed, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, low income (Centrelink or otherwise), culturally and linguistically diverse, LGBTIQA, and/or as a person with disability.
Please send an email to Adelaide Rief, Creative Producer via firstname.lastname@example.org and answer the following questions to apply:
[Note: If you don’t have easy access to a computer or the internet, feel free to call 6182 0000 or drop into the office at 55 Ainslie Ave, Braddon and we can assist you to make an application]
